I am a self taught artist/blacksmith with a passion for metal.

I started my career in carpentry and found a passion for metal when I began making some tools I needed that you just couldn’t buy.  I joined the Blacksmith Guild, built a forge and started to “heat it and beat it”. I’ve been into all things metal ever since.  Being environmentally mindful, I work with found material for the majority of my art pieces.  It’s a plus for mother nature and adds character to the pieces. Visualizing a reincarnated form in an object assumed to be obsolete inspires me.  It’s a very rock and roll approach to art which is why I am so drawn to it. I combine traditional forging with modern techniques to create some fun, funky and functional pieces.

Some of the items pictured in the gallery are special order as work goes in and out of shows, exhibits, etc. Please keep in mind that each piece is unique as I don’t (and won’t) follow a pattern. But, I will guarantee you will be happy with your piece or you may return it for a full refund. My pieces are hand painted and special color requests are welcome.  I have many “critters” and various sculptures that are not pictured here, from copper bamboo, to dragonflies; from gates to butterflies, from candle snuffers to fairies and many in between.
